When you picture an iron rail chances are you think of a heavy, dark colored, ordinary looking piece of metal that no one would glance at twice. It might be convenient, and even a safety feature. It would be something to hold onto when traversing a stairway, or standing on a balcony. But beautiful? Beauty is probably not an adjective that would spring to your mind immediately. Colorful? You doubt it. Artistic? Now we are bordering on the ridiculous. Except that we are not, because ornamental iron railing is all of those things and more.
